Dear Community of St Columba’s,
Happy Father’s Day
To all our fathers and those who play a fathering role, we recognise the special role you play in our lives this weekend. In many ways, your love, guidance, and strength mirror the devotion and care of Jesus. Just as He taught us to love one another with a selfless heart, you embody these values in all that you do. Your dedication to your family is a testament to the grace and love of God working through you.
Throughout your celebrations this weekend, know you are cherished and blessed, and that your presence makes a profound difference in our lives.
Wishing you a day filled with joy, peace, and the blessings.
Many thanks once again to our P&F and all volunteers who will be up early tomorrow morning in preparations for our Annual Father’s Day Breakfast. We hope to see you there.
Church Busy Bee
This Saturday, St. Columba’s Church is hosting a busy bee from 8 am to 10 am, and we would love for you to join us. If you have a passion for gardening, your help would be appreciated. Please bring your own gardening tools as there is plenty of weeding to tackle.
Your contribution will make an enormous difference!
Bishop Don Sproxton
Next Friday, Bishop Don Sproxton will visit the school to meet with all our Year 6 students as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation that evening. Please keep all the students and their families in your prayers during this special time.
Are you leaving?
It is hard to believe that it is already time to start preparing for the 2025 school year. While we are always sad to see families go, we understand that circumstances can change. To help us with budget planning and class compositions, please let us know by September 13, 2024, if your enrolment plans for 2025 will be changing. You can do this by emailing – admin@stcolsbays.wa.edu.au or calling 9208 2700.
Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.

Rob and Jayne Jagger have been a part of the St Columba’s community since 2015 and want to give back. Rob designs baby & children’s feeding products and has been in the industry for 20+ years. His brand Gingerberry, affectionately named after his girls Sophie and Lilah with their ginger & strawberry hair, focuses on ergonomics and provides young families with all they need when introducing a sippy cup, starting solids for the first time & teaching their little ones how to hold cutlery correctly. Rob is offering 20% off with part proceeds going to the School. Simply head to the website www.gingerberry.com.au and enter these two discount codes at the checkout (STCOLS20 + FREE) – all orders can either be collected from their home in Bayswater or the school and this offer will be on for the remainder of 2024.
