KISS AND DRIVE
A quick reminder to all parents that Kiss and Drive finishes at 8:40 am. If your child is later than this time you must report to the office to sign them in.
WINTER UNIFORM
There was a two-week transition period at the start of the term as we move into wearing our winter uniforms. All students are now required to be wearing their winter uniforms.
As per the school’s Student Uniform and Dress Code Policy boys can either wear grey school trousers or grey school shorts. Pinafores for the girls are no longer an option to purchase, however students in Years 1 to 3, who still own a pinafore, can still wear it if they wish.
P & F News
The next meeting is on Tuesday 17th May at 7pm.
We have had queries from families who would like to make a contribution to the CSPWA without being involved in purchasing items. This is incredibly generous, and we are always grateful for any donations in whatever form they take.
The CSPWA bank details are below and can be used at anytime to pay online for fundraisers or for contributions. We ask that you include a family name in the description so that we can allocate funds coming into the account

Library News
Library 2022
Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
The library is open to all students, every morning before school from 8:15am – 8:45 am.
The library is a calming and quiet place, making it the perfect spot for students to have a smooth and calming transition in the morning.
Students may like to return and borrow books before school.
Looking forward to seeing you the library.
Reading and activities in the LIBRARY
At LUNCHTIMES
Students may also use this time to exchange their library book.
Just a reminder that students require the school green
‘Homework and Library Bag’ in order to borrow from the Library.
Many students will already have the green school
‘’Homework and Library Bag’ from previous years.
‘Homework and Library Bags’ can be purchased
from the Uniform Shop at a cost of $10.
The library has lots of books needing covering. If you can help by taking a small number of books home to cover, please advise the library. Your help is greatly appreciated by staff and students.

Religious Education and Curriculum News
From our Year 2’s
In Religion, we have been learning about Reconciliation. We learnt that when we do not follow God’s Commandments as we should, we can say we are sorry and ask to be forgiven.
From our Physical Education Specialist
The students in Years 2-6 have been attending a program called Tiny Tots Tennis at Bayswater Tennis Club. The program aims to lay the foundation of skills, concepts and attitudes so that children can confidently and competently move onto more specific skill levels, and to challenge them in a variety of balance, ball, racquet, spatial awareness, and agility skills. All students are participating in the fun and engaging games the coaches have to offer, which allows them to learn more about the sport as well as expanding on their fundamental movement skills.
Meanwhile, the Year 1’s are currently a part of a Gymnastics program run by Gymnastics WA, where they are running through obstacle training and freestyle movement to improve the student’s coordination, strength, and agility.
