P & F News

Our next P&F meeting is Tuesday 14th March 7pm in the library.

Items for the agenda must be submitted by 5pm Friday 10th of March. Any items after this time will be tabled for the next meeting.

Please note that we have moved to online payments using a secure payment gateway (Stripe).

The P&F bank account that was used last year for EFT transfers is now closed and we are not able to accept EFT payments. Anything not paid online will need to go to the office in cash.

Cut off dates for events are important as we need to give suppliers and volunteers time to order and purchase supplies. We leave cut off times as long as we possibly can and send out SMS reminders,  but we will not able to accept late orders moving forward.

Italian Night

Unfortunately, we have less than 20% of families place an order for Italian Night this Friday. We have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event.

We had to have numbers into Golden Ravioli last Friday but pushed for an extra few days to try and see if we could get enough families involved. We have run out of time now to make the event viable.

We know those families that have placed an order will be as disappointed as we are. All those who placed an order will be re-imbursed.

Entertainment Memberships

Online memberships are available again this year. Memberships can be purchased online.

Religious Education and Curriculum News

From our Year 1’s

This term in Religious Education, Year One have been learning about the people and personal gifts that help them to learn. God gave people special gifts that help them to learn so that they can know about God, others and the world. One of the most special gifts God has given us is the opportunity to gather at Mass and listen to stories about Jesus and God from the Bible.

To explore this further we went to our church and looked at the symbols which remind us of prayer and recognised that each symbol had a meaning.

From our Year 2’s

In Mathematics this term, the Year Two’s have been looking at Place Value. We learnt that the position of a digit in a number denotes its value. We are also learning to compare and order numbers.
