FACTION SWIMMING CARNIVAL

As many of you are aware, the faction swimming carnival has been cancelled due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. Mr Banks has tentatively booked Bayswater Waves on Friday 28 October, 2022 (week 3/Term 4) for the carnival to be run. Further information will be communicated closer to the time.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents who helped in the co-ordinating of the Friday morning swim squad. Your help is very much appreciated and we know the children have enjoyed their time in the pool and especially the yummy breakfast afterwards.

COVID-19

If your child is showing COVID related symptoms and have had a positive PCR/RAT test outside of school hours please notify the school as soon as possible via email admin@stcolsbays.wa.edu.au. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Religious Education and Curriculum News

From our Year 4’s

In Year Four last week we celebrated the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday. We participated in an Ash Wednesday Prayer, where we had time to reflect on what we can do to grow closer to Jesus over the coming weeks.

From our Kindy class

In Kindy we have been learning about our families and what makes our family special and unique. We have read lots of stories about different families, we have counted how many people in our family and discussed how some families have three people and some have seven. But one thing we know is that all families love and care for one another.
